A Sight Away

July has come, he starts his attachment, based in KB for the next 6 months. I on the other hand, am stuck here in Bandar for the next, I’m not sure how long till I start university life. During the first week of July, it was a pretty rough and tough week for me to withstand and try to gather all my strength to accept the fact that he won’t be in Bandar quite that often anymore, which means that he and I won’t be able to see each other that often anymore.

“NIGHTMARE!!!” — NOT~

But then again, it was all real. He was based at B.S.P. in KB, in two areas. In one of the areas, he can’t bring his phone along, the other area he can tag his phone along with him, a job rotation done monthly with his attachment partner.

Anyways, I’m happy for him and I’m supporting him 100% with his future plans. He works 5 days a week, Saturdays & Sundays are his off-days so I get to see him back in Bandar only in the weekends. It’s fair enough. It’s a lesson to be learn so that in the future if I were to be away I wouldn’t feel so down. “

Chapter Four

Just got back from the movies. We watched Vacancy. Such a thrill that movie. It was good. Not the best but one of the best horror flicks. Anyways, back to the early bit of the love journey.

I know I slacked thru’ my A levels last year, that’s because there were a number of personal reasons which I wouldn’t want to look back to. All in all, I got thru’ the whole mess and Alhamdullilah I’m still surviving thru’ the finer things in life. Especially after I got together with him, things just get better and better. Ofcourse, there’s ups & downs along the way but at the end of the day it turned out great. =) Anyways, I keep saying the same things over and over. Part of my bad habits. Hehehe. After slacking thru’ my A levels, I thought of doing the exams a second time in June, while he was busy getting ready for his final exams as he‘s finishing off at the end of the year ’07.

Along the months that passed by, we both studied together, him helping me thru’ my A levels preparations, and me helping him with his project report. During that phase, I made a couple of mistakes which I regretted fully, and wished I didn’t do such things without even thinking of the consequences. I wouldn’t want to think back and spill it out here. It’s over. Get over it. I am over it. Oh my. What am I saying? Anyways, I am really sorry for what I did to him during that phase. Now I really understand and truly see that he‘s the one for me. After all that I’ve done, he still stood by me. Then again, I’m repeating myself. But it’s true.

I’m really thankful that I found someone like him. To be continued. I’m sleepy.

Chapter Three.

A year has passed our love journey and I thank God Al-Mighty for giving us the hope and chance to stand strong with each other in our relationship thru’ thick and thin. I know I have done a lot of mistakes in my life, but his presence to me wasn’t a mistake at all. Although I admit that I have done so many wrongs and only countable rights in our relationship, he still stood by me and he is still willing to have a hope for me to change. And I did change, to be a better person in life and in love. I appreciate all the hard work that he‘s done for me. I realised then that I would be the stupidest person in the whole wide world to leave him for another John Doe if I think that he‘s not all that when in reality, he is all that and more.

He gives love like no other, he‘s there to make me laugh, to make me cry, to make me happy and to make me a stronger and more confident person.

Chapter Two.

We hooked up again a week later. It was on 22nd June ’06. My friends and I decided to have a sleep over at Empire for a night. We hung out till in the early morning. K & M came that night. We talked and talked till the morning. It was fun. Getting to know each other more. Anyways, after that event, we contacted each other almost everyday. A few days later, I popped the question to him, and he said yes. I know it’s the other way around for a girl to propose to a guy, but it’s nothing weird than to know that you’re in love with that someone right? What am I saying? Hee. Anyways, from then on we started on our love journey, sailing ups and downs thru’ the year.

We practically see each other almost everyday, lunch breaks, after school, weekends. We sort of became the “oh romantic sweet couple” during the first few months. Hee. Time fly by so fast. Every month that marks the 26th, we celebrate our monthly anniversary. I know you may think we’re rich, but we’re not that super rich. We’ll just go for movies or dinner on that day. And I would make a custom-made monthly anniversary card for him. With my creativity, it helps me a lot when I do it. Hee.

It was not long that I get to meet his lovely parents and siblings. They’re actually from KB, but they own a house in Bandar too. So, basically on the weekends, his whole family comes down to Bandar but on the weekdays they’re in Seria because both his parents are working there and his 3 younger siblings are schooling there. So, it is obvious that he’s the only one left in Bandar studying Electrical Electronics at one of the Technical Institution.

Chapter One.

It started on 13th June, 2006. I was out with my girlfriends and our guy friend, R, N and K. We decided to go to The Mall, to have lunch together and then catch a movie. We went around window shopping into the small shops at The Mall. When we were about to go down the escalator to the Ground Floor, we saw one of our school mates, T with his friend at the escalator opposite of us. We stopped at the meeting point, right in the middle and talked for a bit. T introduced his friend to us. His name was M. For a moment there, I was silent, my mind filled with his image. I blushed, and I smiled at him. He smiled back. We told T that we wanted to catch a movie, and he said he decided to join us. So, we went back up to the cineplex to get ourselves the tickets. And so, we watched “Cars”.

Before the movie started, we went to WestStreet for a drink. He sat opposite me, R, N & I took some photos. I noticed that M was stealing his glances to look at me. I just smiled. Then it was time for us to watch the movie. After the movie, we all decided to go to Mamih to eat since it was already evening. On the way to Mamih, I followed T’s car, where M was there too. M said to T & me that his phone went missing, so I said I’ll try to give a miss call. M shouted out his number, so I dialled and eventually his phone rang. M made a joke that he’d save my number. I just laughed. After the dinner at Mamih, we went for sisha at Sugar & Spice. M sat next to T, I sat at the end table. Then M & I took a photo with his phone. It was funny. After all that, we all called it a night. We said our good-bye’s to each other and K sent us girls home.
